WHAT TO KNOW

The cyclist, with registration, registration and in any case participation in BEF initiatives, acknowledges and accepts the text contained in all its points specified in the following list:
a) Recommendations for safe cycling;
b) Release (disclaimer clause);
c) Privacy / Authorization to process personal data;
d) Image rights;
e) Trail Regulations • Hike BEF Veneto.

a. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SAFE RIDING

• No signs are placed by WWB Asd on suggested itineraries.

• Minors cannot participate / attend the BEF Trail-Hike guide tracks, but only the BEF Bèlo Veneto guide tracks, if accompanied by a parent.

• Respect the traffic laws, hard helmet always fastened and pay attention on the paths to any people on foot.

• Always use the utmost caution, moderating your speed especially downhill and in curves, and always be ready to see any obstacles by calculating a sufficient braking distance.

• Keep the paths clean and tidy, respect nature and do not throw waste on the streets or paths in the countryside and avoid unnecessary disturbing noises.

• Be objective in judging your degree of physical training before starting the chosen itinerary, and be aware of your physical limits.

• Always use the utmost caution, moderating your speed especially downhill and in curves, and always be ready to see any obstacles by calculating a sufficient braking distance.

• Bring plenty of water (or a salt supplement) and easy-to-eat snacks to keep your energy level constant.

• Wear suitable clothing suitable for the temperatures of the period, with breathable fabric and ready for sudden storms, wearing waterproof clothing.

• Check the good condition of your bicycle before participating / attending the BEF GPS guide tracks, equipped with a first assistance kit.

b. DISCLAIMER (Disclaimer clause) – Disclaimer of liability

The cyclist who participates in the WWB Asd initiatives, and attends the GPS BEF guide tracks, declares under his own responsibility to be in good health and to exempt WWB ASD from any civil and criminal liability relating to and consequent to the ascertainment of any accidents on the suggested routes, including the total or partial loss of equipment or damage to the bicycle, declaring to be fully entitled and in any case having adequate experience to deal with the initiatives of WWB Asd.

The undersigned declares to exempt WWB ASD – BEF and other associations, structures and institutions possibly involved, from any type of responsibility deriving from the attendance of the suggested GPS BEF guide tracks, and in any other initiative proposed by WWB Asd.

The WWB ASD – BEF initiatives were created thanks to the passion for cycling – in particular for mountain biking – of its contributors. For this reason, while doing everything possible to maintain the maximum accuracy and reliability of the information, we decline all responsibility for any errors, omissions, correctness of the GPS routes, and any other information contained in this site.

WWB Asd is also not responsible if accidents occur on the suggested routes, and for this reason it is recommended to always take into consideration your level of training and follow the advice and suggestions contained in the site, to always ride in absolute safety.

Although WWB Asd does not take care of the maintenance of the itineraries, and they are periodically retraced, it is not possible to guarantee the total practicability of the same, which could become unusable due to the rapid growth of vegetation or from the erosion due to rain the paths, and could happen of having to undergo changes in direction, also due to choices made by the municipal traffic police.

For the aforementioned reasons, we are happy to share the tracks with you, hoping that you can have fun in our area, but we will not feel responsible for the use you will make of them as no one has forced you to download them.

Finally, the WWB Asd staff reserves the right to modify or update the contents of the website, including paths and related descriptions at any time and without notice. However, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

c. PRIVACY / AUTHORIZATION FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA (Information pursuant to art.13 of Legislative Decree N. 196/03)

The personal data of the Registered at BEF Veneto are treated in accordance with the legislative decree 30 June 2003, n. 196. Personal data are collected at the time of registration and are provided directly by the interested parties. Failure to provide personal data will make it impossible to accept the registration itself. The data is processed in paper and electronic form by the Organizer, for all the obligations related to the organization of the event in order to provide users with information on the participants and the results of the race. The same data can be disclosed to employees, collaborators, firms and / or companies involved in the organization of the event, sponsors, partners and consultants of the Organizer for the aforementioned purposes and / or for sending information and advertising material. In relation to any sensitive data contained therein, subscribers are required to expressly express their consent for the processing of such sensitive data.

Having taken note of the information pursuant to art. 13 of the legislative decree 30 June 2003, n. 196, the Biker authorizes the treatment and communication of his / her personal data to WWB Asd, for the purposes connected with the creation of BEF and for the eventual publication of the time trial results. The Biker gives consent to the processing by authorizing the sending of information material relating to subsequent events or various initiatives proposed by WWB Asd and authorizes any photographic and cinematographic shooting for the creation of videos, bulletin boards, publication in print and web (including downloads ).

d. IMAGE RIGHTS

With the BEF Registration and the use of the GPS guide tracks suggested by WWB Asd, as well as with the participation in all the BEF Veneto initiatives, the cyclist renounces any image and speech rights granted to radio, television, publishing and advertising companies in general, and also authorizes WWB Asd itself for the free use, without territorial and time limits, of still and moving images that portray it during all BEF initiatives. It will not be possible to select photographs or movies to obscure the faces of people who do not want to appear on them. It does not guarantee others the right to use BEF Veneto logos or its name for advertising or commercial purposes or to transfer such rights to third parties. Any communication outside the private circle relating to the initiatives or using their images is not permitted without the express written authorization of WWB Asd, which establishes the conditions.

Rules and Regulation

1. BEF Trail • Hike

The cyclist, with registration, registration and in any case participation in the initiatives, acknowledges and accepts the content on the page WHAT TO KNOW: www.bikeenofood.it/cosa-sapere/

Unique bike adventure, characterized by high length, by variability of the track, background, lack of technical support, which can be tackled independently and self-sufficient. The gps guide tracks of 3 itineraries of Km ∼ A) 390, B) 590, C) 680, are renewed every two years, with places crossed of certain interest in the Veneto provinces: VR, VI, PD, TV, BL.

Two formulas with passage certification operations that are distinguished based on the approach chosen by the cyclist:

a) Trail for those who aspire to the best competitive performance, once the BEF Veneto Trail has been completed in compliance with the Regulations, inclusion in BEF Cronistoria is obtained;

b) Hike for those facing the test as a cycle excursionist.

WWB Asd makes available the gps guide tracks and the modalities of certification passage for this test, aimed at mtb, gravel and ebike vehicles. The opportunity is to follow the tracks starting from the BEF Point BASE or from any point on the track, both on the dates established by us, and when you want, as many times as you want, until the validity expires (Point 10).

2. BEF GPS GUIDE TRACKS

The gps guide tracks are valid for two years – such as registration -, of three itineraries (ABC) of different length and difficulty, with WP of each partner accommodation facility BEF Point, available on the info sheet on the official website, they can be downloaded, or sent by email, in .gpx format, following BEF registration.

It is forbidden to use, reproduce, distribute, sell the tracks BEF Veneto A – B – C for other purposes.

3. BEF VENETO POINT

WWB takes care of selecting and arranging accommodation facilities called “BEF Point”, located every Km30 Km on tracks A – B – C, where the cyclist spontaneously decides to stop, eat, stay overnight.

They are reported with WP on the gps track, physically by BEF Table, on the online info card and with hospitality services specified on the site and useful for the passage certification operations.

4. BEF PERSONAL TRAVEL CARD

Following registration, the cyclist receives a personal travel card, with data section and stamp box, which he can request as many times as he wants. What we recommend to include on the BEF Travel Card:

– Trail formula: category, date and time of departure, time trial, itinerary you have completed.

– Hike formula: stamping, itinerary you have completed.

5. HISTORY – only for the Trail formula

The cyclist, enrolled who completes the BEF Veneto in compliance with the Regulations, sends the BEF Travel Card with clearly visible data, time trial result included, useful for their inclusion in the respective History by category – only for the Trail formula -:

to. BEF History by category with entry of the final time trial;

b. BEF Chronology BEF Best 90 (10 best chrono in each category) with final chrono entry.

The cyclist is aware that in the event of a violation of these Regulations, he will be excluded from the History.

6. BEF VENETO BREVET

The cyclist, having concluded the three BEF Veneto A – B – C routes in compliance with the Regulations, with the relative dispatch of the three travel cards, receives the BEF Veneto Patent.

7. APPROACH

The cyclist, in pursuit of the BEF Veneto spirit, spontaneously chooses:

– deal with BEF Veneto in total autonomy and self-sufficiency, aware that there is no assistance, search and recovery service;

– carry out the certification operations of passage to each BEF Point;

– autonomously enter your data in the BEF Travel Card, time trial included in the case of Trail;

– self-determine the management of the test, without time limits, deciding km of the stage to be completed, how, when and where to eat, how, when and where to sleep;

– use or not the hospitality services, aware that in the event, you must contact the BEF Point directly;

– be in the best conditions, with adequate physical preparation and prone to prolonged efforts;

– send the valid medical certificate (jpeg / pdf) through the registration form.

8. CERTIFICATION OF PASSAGE

The cyclist is facilitated in his / her expectations with distinct operations of certification passage to each BEF Point:

– Trail with quick scan of the QRcode on BEF Table to obtain the best chrono performance;

– Hike with operator’s stamp on BEF Travel Card, ideal for getting a nice souvenir.

In any case, the cyclist certifies the transition to the mode that he finds most congenial.

9. MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

By registering, the cyclist sends one of the following valid documents through the online form:

– valid medical certificate of good health, issued by the family doctor.

– R.C. insurance policy obtained through a license / card issued by an ASD company affiliated with a recognized body;

– personal insurance policy that guarantees adequate coverage for any damage incurred while participating in BEF Veneto;

– medical certificate of fitness for competitive activity valid in the country and issued by doctors or sports medicine centers;

10. BEF REGISTRATION

The cyclist, voluntarily and spontaneously registers online, or at WWB Asd, and obtains the gps guide tracks with two-year validity, with the opportunity to follow the tracks starting from the BEF Point BASE or from any point of the track, either on the dates established by us, which when you want, as many times as you want, until validity expires: 24 months to use the BEF Veneto A – B – C tracks and use the agreed services at the BEF Points.

The cyclist, who must be 18 years old at the time of registration, sends the valid medical certificate (jpeg / pdf) through the online form duly completed.

11. REGISTRATION FEE PAYMENT

The BEF Veneto registration fee for the year 2021 and 2022:

Couple euro 90.00

The fee is to be paid to WWB on a PayPal account, or B.B, or directly at WWB Asd, with the purpose of “BEF Veneto Registration”, to:

13. CANCELLATION

If the departure date set by WWB should be canceled due to force majeure and in any case also not dependent on the will of WWB, the cyclist has the right to dispose of the fee paid by the deadline, 31/12/2022.


14. CATEGORIES BEF Veneto – Trail formula

The categories are n. 9:

– Female: Mtb – Gravel – Ebike

– Male: Mtb – Gravel – Ebike

– Couple: Mtb – Gravel – Ebike


15. RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT

In the event of an emergency or loss of the route, it is advisable to equip yourself with all the sustenance and material necessary for your safety, maintenance and possible repair of your bike, as listed:

supply of water and food, 10-0 ° comfort sleeping bag, thermal emergency blanket, vest, reflective bands for night walking, lighter, whistle and smartphone, approved helmet, front and rear lights, anti-puncture kit.


16. RESPECT OF THE RULES OF THE ROAD AND THE ENVIRONMENT

The cyclist always faces BEF Veneto voluntarily, spontaneously and consciously, in compliance with the rules of the road and the environment.

17. BIKER’S DECLARATION

By registering with BEF Veneto the cyclist DECLARES THAT:

– deal with BEF Veneto in compliance with these Regulations, confirming that they know and respect without reservation the content in the BEF WHAT TO KNOW website page: www.bikeenofood.it/cosa-sapere/;

– By complying with these Regulations, following the spirit of the Trail / Hike, he is aware that he will be included in the BEF Cronistoria, as on the contrary I will be excluded;

– is aware that it is necessary to register in advance with BEF Veneto to use the BEF Gps guide tracks;

– At the time of enrollment he has turned 18 years of age;

– all the data provided on the registration form correspond to the truth, aware that any false declarations lead to cancellation from the BEF History;

– Is aware that he will be expelled in case of a violation of these Regulations

– is aware that at the conclusion of his BEF Veneto he must send the BEF Travel Card, with clearly visible data useful for inclusion in the BEF History;

– attends and participates in BEF respecting the rules of the road and the environment, in total autonomy and self-sufficiency, independently fulfills its own time trial, self-determines the management of the test, without time limits, the daily mileage to be covered, how, when and where to eat, how, when and where to sleep, respecting the certification passage to each accommodation facility called Point BEF where it spontaneously chooses whether to stop, consume and / or stay overnight;

– undertakes not to form large groups such as to prevent regular car traffic and to facilitate it;

– undertakes to travel in single file and use any cycle paths and / or docks reserved for cyclists if present;

– undertakes to use the front white and red rear lighting well fixed on the bicycle when natural light is insufficient;

– undertakes to wear the reflective bands and any light indicators while driving in case of night journeys;

– undertakes not to throw the waste produced by my needs along the road but to throw it in the appropriate collection containers;

– undertakes to behave respectfully and correctly towards the other participants and towards those present along the route;

– GPS tracking is not intended to ensure its safety, but for its information and spontaneous usability;

– is aware that there are no obligations on the part of WWB towards it and that there is no assistance, search and recovery service for items withdrawn;

– is aware that to face this test it is necessary to be in the best conditions, with adequate physical preparation and a good predisposition to prolonged efforts;

– is in possession of a third-party liability insurance policy through a license / card issued by an ASD company affiliated with a recognized body, and / or in any case covered by a personal insurance policy, which guarantees adequate coverage for any damage incurred while participating in BEF Veneto, and / or in any case in possession of a certificate doctor of fitness for competitive activity valid in the country and issued by doctors or sports medicine centers, and / or in any case are in possession of a valid medical certificate of good health, issued by the family doctor;

– under his own responsibility, to be in good health and to exonerate WWB ASD from any liability, both civil and criminal, relating to and consequent to the ascertainment of any accidents on the suggested routes, declaring to be fully entitled and in any case boasting experience suitable for address BEF initiatives;

– goes directly to the BEF Point accommodation facility for any type of request relating to the use of hospitality services, aware that no agency activity is carried out by WWB Asd, which is previously exonerated in relation to any dispute between the user and the accommodation facility ;

– is aware and accepts that it is forbidden to modify / shorten the routes, use / request support from motorized vehicles and any type of support, except in an emergency, otherwise he will be excluded from the BEF Cronistoria;

– participation / attendance in BEF initiatives, being your free choice, takes place with the assumption of responsibility, at your own risk, renouncing any claim, action, claim or claim, exonerating WWB Asd from any liability whatsoever;

– is aware, acknowledges and therefore accepts that BEF is intended as a mere meeting with the spontaneous and independent participation of cyclists on a free and personal excursion;

– is aware that WWB does not make any selection based on past cycling experiences, and the evaluation of participating / attending BEF is made exclusively by himself;

– is aware, acknowledges and accepts that everyone travels at their own risk and is considered to be on a free personal excursion without any more rights than other road users;

– is fully acquainted with the rules of the local Highway Code and undertakes to comply with them avoiding any violation;

– is aware of the usefulness of the approved protective helmet and that he is obliged to wear it during the BEF, as well as being equipped with the mechanical assistance kit and everything that he autonomously deems necessary to travel in total safety;

– is aware, acknowledges and accepts that it is solely responsible for its safety and its contrary behavior, or in any case in violation of the rules of the Highway Code of which it is perfectly aware;

– is aware, acknowledges and accepts that there is no health, food and mechanical assistance service on the part of WWB, that there is no recovery service for withdrawn items, nor are there any obligations on the part of WWB to search for eventualities and with problems on the path of the BEF;

– is aware that BEF is a non-competitive test of resistance and of considerable psychophysical commitment, even extreme;

– has experience in GPS navigation and a sense of orientation in off-road and / or in any case not tracked routes;

– has experience and is aware, acknowledges and accepts that the route is not marked, it is not monitored and there are no safety posts and / or rescue personnel along the route;

– is aware and has experience on exposed and difficult high-medium mountain trails as to encounter adverse weather conditions, even extreme ones, and is able to orient himself and pedal in such conditions and adequately prepared to deal with emergency situations;

– already has experience in traveling in total autonomy and self-sufficiency and safety, on routes of this type;

– is physically prepared to face many hours on the saddle of a high-medium mountain bike, without stopping and in complete self-sufficiency;

– he is currently and will be in excellent physical condition and without any contraindications to prevent this cycling excursion in total safety as regards his body;

– does not make or will make use of doping or drugs or medicines or any substance that could alter its performance or in any case involve situations of damage and / or danger for itself and for others;

– has all the material necessary to take part in adventures that, like this one, require and will be in excellent condition and ready for use to travel independently and safely on the GPS track that will be sent to me;

– is aware, acknowledges and accepts that there is no obligation for WWB to guard the roads crossed by BEF;

– is aware, acknowledges and accepts that WWB is not a professional organizing body, but it acts only for recreational purposes and not for financial purposes (1174 Civil Code), and therefore participation in the BEF cycling excursion always takes place by free choice and for playful purposes, however not patrimonial. It follows therefore that WWB is free, and in any case indemnified, from any liability connected to the BEF cycling excursion. He is also released from any responsibility regarding events that occurred to himself or caused to others during the BEF (such as for example: accidents, loss of the route, physical problems, accidents, thefts, etc.);

– is aware, acknowledges and accepts that there is no system to communicate with cyclists along the BEF and only athletes are responsible for communications with loved ones;

18. PRIVACY LAW (Information pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003 “Code regarding the protection of personal data”)

The undersigned grants his consent to the use of his personal data by WWB, for the purposes connected or instrumental to the exercise of the activity of registration to the BEF and keeps the data on computer media and they will be treated in full compliance with the measures security protection of my privacy. As required by law, at any time the Biker can write to the data controller c / o WWB Asd, and obtain the free update or cancellation of data.

To this end, prior authorization is required pursuant to Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003, with registration at the BEF.

19. IMAGES

As part of the BEF, it may occasionally occur the opportunity to publish short videos and / or texts accompanied by photographs depicting cyclists on the BEF website, on brochures, flyers, magnetic media or promotional material of various kinds.

It should be noted that this publication will take place without financial requests of any kind, and the persons depicted will have the right, at any time, to request the cancellation of their image from such media. The cancellation will take place as soon as possible, subject to the necessary technical times.

To this end, prior authorization is required pursuant to Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003, with registration at the BEF.

20. JURISDICTION

In the event of a dispute between the cyclist and WWB Asd it is accepted that the competent court is that of Verona, Italy.

21. ACCEPTANCE

The cyclist accepts that the only valid Regulation is this, in the Italian version issued by WWB and that acceptance takes place in fact upon registration with the BEF Veneto.

The cyclist, to have read the PRIVACY LAW on data protection, the IMAGES release, and to have understood and accepted without reservation the present Regulations in each of its articles and sub-articles.
